Local woodworker furniture builder

Seth Mondragon

I’ve always been a curious, hands-on, figure it out kind of guy.  Traits like those have helped me tremendously throughout my career and traits like those keep me excited about each new project.  With every custom project there’s always one thing or another that I haven’t done before, and I consider myself a “lifelong learner”.  Even still, I’ll often catch myself daydreaming about ways to improve on a design or technique I’ve done several times in the past.

I tend to “ooh and ahh” over mid-century modern furniture, and while I do draw some inspiration from pieces of that era I wouldn’t say my style is a “mid century modern” style.  I would say that my style, while always evolving (remember, I’m a lifelong learner) will always be modern, tasteful and well-made.  Whether it’s something I designed on my own or a collaboration with a customer, I want those things to remain just as stylish many years down the road as they were the day it was completed.

I’m a one-man-band.  The opportunity to be creative and make beautiful things as a modern craftsman is a dream come true.  When you reach out about a project you’re going to hear back from me.  When you give the green light for a project it’s going to be made by me.  That handsome devil in the photos on this website? Yep…me.  That may sound like a lot of me but the fact of the matter is that I’m here to serve YOU.  I would love to build something for you.

“The reverence that the object maker has for the materials, for the shape, and for the miracle of his skill transcends to God, the Master Craftsman, the Creator of all things, who uses us, our hands, as His tools to make these beautiful objects.”
