Long bar-height table. The original table top was a live-edge slab that only came out to the left and was attached on one end to that structural column. The other end was supported by a large medal leg/base. I built a new table top using plywood clad in alder. The new table top was 14 feet end to end and I replicated the metal leg so the other side matched. I built this table top in such a way that it secured to the structural column for support and both halves of the table top lined up in the middle so it looks like the column is coming through the table top.
